Mercedes-Benz W113

The Mercedes-Benz W 113 automobiles were produced from 1963 through 1971. They were sold as the "pagoda roof" SL Class. The W 113 replaced the W 198 SL-Class in 1963 and was replaced by the R107 SL Class in 1972. (more…)

Mercedes Benz 300SL

The Mercedes-Benz 300SL is a two-seat, closed sports car with characteristic gull-wing doors, and later, offered as an open roadster. It was also given the name "Widowmaker" because many male drivers died when crashing their 300SLs. (more…)

Mercedes Benz 190SL

The first small Mercedes SL model was introduced in 1954, the 190SL. The 190SL was aimed at a similar market as today's SLK model and had pretty styling modelled on the larger 300SL model. The 190SL shared many of its components with the 190 saloon range including the 1897cc straight four engine. Unlike the saloon the 190SL benefited from having twin-carbs which helped produce a top speed of 105mph. (more…)
